Description

Do you like quests, when everything depends on your speed and the ability to read the given task between the lines? If it is true about you, you should try a shooter with a bit of Biblical sense. Remember the story about Abraham and his son Isaac? It was reiterated in a RGP shooter with the name Binding of Isaac, but the story was changed quite a bit. Here the young boy was peacefully sitting in his room, and playing in his toys. When suddenly his mother heard the voice from the sky that told her she must help her son, who is a sinner. She said that she would do everything that this voice asks, and she begged to help her to improve the life of her sole son. The voice said that she has to kill Isaac, so the woman takes a big knife, and rushes to her son’s room. Isaac sees everything, and he understands that his mother is mad. He finds the only way-out – to jump into the hatchway, but he is trapped into a place that is even worse than his room. He is underground, in a multistorey that has many rooms that are filled with monsters. There is no way-out, and the boy accepts the challenge.

He will face numerous bizarre creatures that want to kill him, and no one gave him advices on how to act in such unusual situation. After killing a set of monsters in a certain room Isaac can find useful objects, so to say artifacts, and gain more power, speed, weapon and other utensils that will help him to become more powerful and confident. After he closes the door of the last room, he can get an access to the other level, but this won’t be that easy, because he will face super powerful boss that will be very strong, and it will take plenty of efforts to vanquish him. This is a new version of a well-known game, developed and re-mastered. You will see many interesting locations and treasures that you have never seen before in previous versions.

This mod only contains music from the original Binding of Isaac. The floors from Afterbirth now use the music from their counterparts (read the readme if don't want this). If you want new music for these floors then check out my Kinda Classic Music Mod. It adds music from other sources, such as The Binding of Isaac: Community Remix.
The music in this mod comes directly from the official soundtrack of The Binding of Isaac: Wrath of the Lamb, the game itself and nothing else.

Seems people are having some trouble installing the mod. The readme is false, you have to do a couple more steps. Go to your installation folder, tools then use the resource extractor exe. Once unpacked, go to the resources folder and rename the packed folder to something else. Then drag and drop the contents of the mod folder into the resources folder, making sure to replace anything it asks you to. Bam, mod installed.

Needs an update. I installed the mod, and it appears in enabled mods, but has no effect. All music is unchanged.

Pasted the music folder, xml, and sfx folder in Resources folder, did not work. Tried in main Isaac folder, still did not work. I have afterbirth+

How to make it work? what i have to do with the .xml file?

I only have the Afterbirth DLC. Do I need Afterbirth+ too?

I don't have any of those fancy DLC, is it supposed to work even though i only have Rebirth?

Found a fix for this as of 2018: Check that you are installing to the correct location of Isaac as found Steam > Local Files > Browse Local Content as opposed to installing in a separate copy of the game that is not launched by Steam.

Can someone post a folder example for what romaje is talking about? I unzipped the folder fine and other mods work fine. For the love of Isaac someone please fix this, so many people suffering without it.

Is this compatible with rebirth only? Since it's not working for me :/

I've tried several times to install this mod for mac. I am extracting the music, sfx, and music.xml files into my resources folder:
Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/The Binding of Isaac Rebirth/The Binding of Isaac Rebirth.app/Contents/Resources/resources
However, it is not working. I have tried to put the data into every other subfolder and nothing works.
Is there a different installation for afterbirth or is this not compatible with the mac version of the game.
I just want to say, I've used this mod and it definitely worked before.

Don't think it works anymore. At least not on Afterbirth+

I extracted everything into Antibirth/Resources, but it isn't working. When I have it set to Antibirth music, the Antibirth music plays, and then I set it to Rebirth and nothing plays at all. Do you know what I'm doing wrong?

Is the Rebirth version of this mod compatible with Antibirth? If it isn't, does anyone know how to edit Antibirth's files to use the WOTL soundtrack in place of the Rebirth music?

Yes and no. You can put it into the antibirth folder and it'll work just fine, but not without issues, like antibirth music having trouble loading and certain rooms (Planetariums) losing their music when using Original. It works, but it has some glaring issues that I or someone else should look into fixing.
